PURPOSE: A method for supplying various receipt calling sounds by means of a multiple receipt calling sound is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for supplying a multiple receipt calling sound in an electronic switching system, the method comprising the steps of: allotting a plurality of logical numbers indicating a multiple receipt calling sound subscriber number to a physical circuit number of a subscriber by a subscriber, and registering different multiple receipt calling sounds to the logical numbers; translating a corresponding receiving number and confirming multiple receipt calling sound information registered in a corresponding logical number when other subscriber tries a call by a logical number; transmitting a receipt occupancy request having the multiple receipt calling sound information to a corresponding subscriber control block according to a kind of a subscriber of the tried call; and transmitting a corresponding receipt calling sound to a mobile station of a corresponding subscriber when the receipt occupancy request corresponds to the multiple receipt call sound subscriber.
