NEGATIVE AIR BEARING HEAD SLIDER HAVING INDEPENDENT NEGATIVE CAVITY

PURPOSE: A negative air bearing head slider is provided to reduce a flight property change and to perform a dynamic stability by using more than two independent negative pressure air cavities. CONSTITUTION: The negative air bearing head slider comprises a negative air bearing head slider having a transducer formed in adjacent to a rotating disk, two side rail forming a main air bearing plane generating a power for raising a slider by forming a wide front section and a backside section and by forming an inclined section in the center of the rail, a central rail formed in a central cross-section of the slider and forming an air bearing plane generating a power raising the slider, one air negative pressure air cavity formed between inclined sections of the central side rail of the slider, a negative pressure air cavity divided and formed by a side rail in both side of the slider front, and a channel flowing in an air to the negative air cavity formed between the both side rails.
