PURPOSE: A method for installing a program of a terminal in a hard disc in an online state in a private switching system is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for installing a program of a terminal in a private switching system, the method comprising the steps of: preparing an install when a first message is received, the first message indicated whether an install in a preservation conservation device from an input/output processing module is performed; transmitting a second message to the preservation conservation device in the input/output processing module when the install is prepared in the preservation conservation device, the second message requests transmission of an information file having information and version information of each file; transmitting the information file to the input/output processing module when the preservation conservation device receives the second message from the input/output processing module; transmitting a third message to the preservation conservation device in the input/output processing module, the third message indicates that requests transmission of a desired file based on the received information file; transmitting the requested file to the input/output processing module in the preservation conservation device when the preservation conservation device receives the third message from the input/output processing module; and storing the file transmitted from the preservation conservation device in the input/output processing module.
