PURPOSE: An apparatus for reproducing a recording media is provided, which embodies a slot mechanism for a thin type recording media reproducing apparatus and can automatically load a disk. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for reproducing a recording media comprises: a main base (1); a recording media leading means (100) to be installed on the main base (1) for transmitting and guiding a recording media (D); a sensing means (200) for providing a signal to a microprocessor; a motive power generating means (300) to be operated by the signal of the microprocessor; a transmission means (500) for moving the recording media (D) to a reproducing unit (400); a centering means (600) for centering the recording media (D) to the reproducing unit (400); a clamping means (700) for clamping the recording media (D); and an output means (800) for outputting the recording media (D). Thereby, it is possible to automatically load the disk.
