TELEPHONE NUMBER STORING METHOD OF AN EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: A telephone number storing method is provided to reduce a memory of an exchanger which a telephone number is stored. CONSTITUTION: The telephone number storing method comprises the steps of: converting into a number information a DTMF signal provided from a subscriber line or telephone number data provided from another exchanger for a connection of a conversation of telephone; partitioning the telephone number converted into the number information by a unit of a decimal number of two places; adding an insignificant number (0) to a last place when the last place remains at dividing the telephone number; and converting the telephone divided by the unit of the two places into a binary number of one byte to store the converted binary number.
