PURPOSE: An electricity breaking apparatus is provided to reduce an electricity consumption, a great fire accident and an electric shock. CONSTITUTION: An electricity breaking apparatus is a current transformer(27) having a zero phase, a trip coil, and a display means(19). When a current above a regularity sensing current flows, the electricity breaking apparatus detects the current, and transmits the current to opening and closing apparatus, and breaks the current. The trip coil responds to an electromotive force which is induced in a second winding(25) of the current transformer having a zero phase. The display means is assembled to the second winding of the current transformer having a zero phase. The display means displays the current flowing to the second winding of the current transformer having a zero phase.
