PURPOSE: An aqueous ZnSO4 solution secondary battery with manganate as additive is provide to substantially suppress the loss of capacitance due to repetitive charging/discharging. CONSTITUTION: The aqueous ZnSO4 solution secondary battery with manganate as additive comprises: manganese dioxide as an anode; Zn as a cathode; and mixed aqueous solution of the manganese and Zn as electrolyte. The Zn of said electrolyte is 0.5M¯3M of ZnSO4, the manganese of said electrolyte is selected from group consisted of MnSO4, Mn(NO3)3, Mn(C)2CH3)2, MnCl2, MnBr2, Mn(ClO4)2 and has the concentration less than 2M. Therefore, according to the present invention, the loss of capacitance due to repetitive charging/discharging operation can be substantially suppressed by adding only the manganate. |
