PURPOSE: Liquid crystal device, electrooptic device, and projection display device using the same are provided to prevent the volumes of charge and electric discharge from data lines, the potential shake of image signal lines and the producing of noise in display. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal device of such a type that a reset potential is applied to each of data lines prior to supply image signals to the data lines by forming a capacitor (85) between a constant-potential line (84) and reset signal lines (81, 82) for applying a reset potential to each of the data lines prior to supply image signals to the data lines in a liquid crystal device board (1), the capacitor (85) being formed by using each step for manufacturing a TFT (50). In this liquid crystal device and a projection display device using the same, a structure which can prevent routing around of signals through the reset signal lines from the data lines and improve quality of display is provided.
