PURPOSE: A slave cylinder with a pressure connecting piece having an elastic sealing element is provided to set a location in a pressurizing joint for simply assembling. CONSTITUTION: The invention concerns a hydraulic release mechanism (1) for a friction clutch located within a clutch housing (13). The clutch has a pressure connecting piece (11) that is guided through a recess (12) in the clutch housing. To seal the pressure joint (11), a ring groove (17) is provided in the vicinity of the recess (12), into which the sealing element (16) locks positively.
