PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make analysis technologies for traveling characteristics of automotive vehicle possible to be enhanced to cause a subjectively sensed value and calculation results to be mutually conformed well by using a significance coefficient depending on a variable indicating the type of a driver during the calculation of an evaluation rate. SOLUTION: The instantaneous conditions of a vehicle is detected by a plurality of sensors S1-S3, and its measured values are filed in a measured value memory M-SP. Then, the presence or absence of a trigger condition is determined in terms of each moment measured value at a discrimination unit TB, and if a trigger condition exists, a function (a determination reference) previously designated from the measured rate is calculated at an evaluation unit AW. An inherent evaluation rate is calculated at a first aggregation unit AGG1, and a total evaluation DR is calculated from the inherent evaluation rate on the bases of a predetermined algorithm at a second aggregation unit. On the other hand, a variable indicating a constant nature of the drive is calculated at a first driver analysis unit F1 to be assigned to one driver type FT at a second driver analysis unit F2.
