PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for detecting an edge angle for surely and continuously monitoring the edge angle of a gypsum-board molded body. SOLUTION: An edge angle detecting device 1 is provided to a gypsum-board manufacturing device which continuously manufactures a gypsum-board molding W and detects an edge angle α of the gypsum-board molding. The edge angle detecting device 1 comprises a light source 2, a CCD imaging device 3, and an image processing device 31. The light source 2 is provided on the side of an edge part so as to face an edge surface 16 of a side-edge band of the gypsum-board molding, and continuously emits imaging light to the side-edge band. The imaging device 3 is provided in the upper area of the side-edge band so as to receive the light reflected on the edge surface, to continuously image the picture of an edge part 15. The image processing device 31 measures an apparent edge width E by an image process of the picture of edge surface, and detects an edge angle based on the measured value of the edge width. The edge angle detecting device further comprises a position detecting device 4 and a light-receiving part moving device 5. |
