PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the movement of a movable object image when a person approaches a display means by controlling the movement of a movable object image generated on the basis of the distance to an object present near the display means for displaying a movable object. SOLUTION: A living being animation image is projected, for example, as a movable body animation image by a display means 2 consisting of a cathode-ray tube, and a video signal is generated by a movable object image generating means 3 consisting of a computer on the basis of the information storing the movable object image in the inner part. An object sensing means 5 consisting of an ultrasonic sensor transmits and receives the ultrasonic waves for measuring the distance to the object, and a movable object image generating means 6 consisting of a control circuit for the ultrasonic sensor transmits and receives the signal for receiving the ultrasonic waves to the ultrasonic sensor and outputs the distance information to the movable object image generating means 3. According to this, an object approaching the display means 2 is detected to measure the distance thereto, and the movement of the movable object image generated by the movable object image generating means 3 is controlled according to the measured distance to the object detected in the front of the display means 2.
