PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for locating a damaged part of a water shielding sheet easily and surely. SOLUTION: The method for locating a damaged part 64 of a water shielding sheet 24a having a double structure where the circumferential part of upper and lower sheets is enclosed includes a step for evacuating the inside of the water shielding sheet 24a by means of a vacuum pump, and a step for detecting a damaged part by measuring surface temperature distribution of the water shielding sheet 24a through a temperature distribution measuring camera 68 while evacuating the water shielding sheet 24a by means of the vacuum pump.
