PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain drift due to external disturbance for response to a micro- input by giving a dead zone for rotational angular speed to a gyroscope, and switching the dead zone with the detected signal of an external-disturbance detecting sensor. SOLUTION: This gyroscope 11 dead-processes angular speed RA with a dead-processing means 14 at every measurement. Concurrently with the measurement of the angular speed RA of the gyroscope 11, an external-disturbance amount dT/dt is computed from the external-disturbance detected signal of an external-disturbance detecting sensor 12 such as a temperature sensor. When the external-disturbance amount dT/dt is indicated as a large one. it is determined that the angular speed RA the gyroscope measures includes a large drift due to external disturbance, and the angular speed RA is outputted as RA=0. When the external-disturbance amount dT/dt is indicated as a small one, the angular speed RA is outputted left as it is. As a result, a drift component is removed from the output obtained from the dead-processing means 14, thus it is possible to achieve a stable gyroscope signal.
