PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform write to an electronized book and to simultaneously improve a retrieval property. SOLUTION: This hybrid optical disk medium is provided with a ROM area which is a read only storage area and a RAM area which is a rewritable storage area. An electronized document is stored as fixed information in the ROM area and additional information such as underlines and annotations to the fixed information is stored in the RAM area. Also, a retrieval program for retrieving the fixed information and the additional information is stored in the ROM area and a retrieval index for retrieving the fixed information and the additional information is stored in the RAM area.
