PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing the lowering of density. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, based on density information detected by a density detection sensor 15, the density of a density-detection toner image (patch pattern) slid on a photoreceptor drum 1 by the rotation of an intermediate transfer drum 6 is changed by a controller 16. When it is judged that the density of the density-detection toner image is lowered, an electrifying bias having the same polarity as electrified toner forming a toner image is applied to a corona electrifier 13 from a bias power source 14 at the time of the transfer of the toner image to the intermediate transfer drum 6, thereby electrifying the toner on the intermediate transfer drum 6. Thus, the the lowering of density caused by the lowering of toner-triboelectricity decrease is prevented, and the image of proper density can be obtained. |
