PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively execute adjustment between a remote customer on a communication network and the customer who actually comes to a store by permitting the customer or a clerk inside the store to know a purchase application by means of controlling a reporting means when the remote customer designates a certain merchandise in an image and applies for the purchase. SOLUTION: The image picked-up by a video camera 51 is opened to the public in a home page in the Internet which is opened by a store side through the use of a store side server 52. Besides, an infrared-ray signal transmitter 41 transmits signals for displaying the prices and merchandise codes of the corresponding merchandise 2-4 and the characters of 'for sale' or 'sold' on a screen to report panels 12-14 by the operation of the clerk 40. Thus, inconvenience such as the one where the commodity such as a single production specified merchandise and an unspecified merchandise with few stock is simultaneously desired for purchase twice by the user on the network and the customer who comes to the store and confusion is given is avoided. |
