PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simulate a sound field in the case of reproducing a multi-channel audio signal in a more excellent way. SOLUTION: The processing unit is provided with a reverberation processing section 12 that generates a reverberation signal based on at least 4-channel audio signals obtained at an input section, a virtual sound image processing section 13 that generates a virtual sound image signal whose sound image is in existence at a prescribed position different from an actual speaker position that outputs an audio signal of respective channels based on at least two channels, left rear and right rear channels of audio signals in the audio signals obtained at the input section, and output sections 14a, 14b, 15 that add the reverberation signal generated by the reverberation processing section 12 to the 4-channel audio signals, mix the virtual sound image signal generated by the virtual sound image processing section 13 with the left rear channel and the right rear channel audio signals and provide an output of the speaker audio signals of the respective channels. |
