PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide, at a low cost, a commutation time for current flow in a winding of each stator pole. SOLUTION: In a stator 14 equipped with a first stator pole 11, a second stator pole 12 and a third stator pole 13 around which a first winding 21, a second winding 22 and a third winding 23 are wound, respectively, a rotor 15 equipped with a first rotor pole 31 and a second rotor pole 32 which face the respective stator poles is rotatably arranged. By applying a current to the windings 21, 22, 23 in this order, a rotating magnetic field 20 is generated in the respective stator poles. By acting a reluctance motor T upon the rotor, the rotor is rotated. In this reluctance motor 10, the commutation time for applying a current to each stator pole is determined on the basis of induced voltages v1, v2, v3 generated in the windings in the state that a current does not flow. |
