SOLUTION: A positive terminal member 13 has a cap part 17 for forming a housing space 24 of a value element 12 between an electrode plate 2 and itself, a connecting base plate 18 extending from the cap part 17 and electrically connected to the electrode plate 2 by welding, an introducing plate 20 extending from the connecting base plate 18 to the outside of a battery case 4 also acting as one electrode, a connecting electrode part 21 installed at the tip of the introducing plate 20, and a projection 28 for projection welding formed in the connecting electrode part 21. The connecting electrode part 21 in the positive terminal member 13 of one battery Ba1 of adjacent two batteries is directly connected by projection welding to the battery case 4 of the other battery Ba2.
