PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine system capable of using both a conventional prepaid type magnetic card and an IC card. SOLUTION: In this automatic vending machine system which has plural automatic vending machine bodies that contain products and sell the products according to the operation of a customer and also that are installed in a scattered way. An automatic vending machine controller 4 managing the plural automatic vending machine bodies 1 to 3 performs data exchange between the bodies 1 to 3. The automatic bending machine controller 4 provided with a communicating means, bending machine slave machines 100 to 300 which contain a sales information collecting part collecting sales information such as product sales of the automatic vending machine bodies, plural card reader- writers that read and write in/from plural kinds of cards and a communication means that communicates with the automatic vending machine controller are installed in parallel with the respective automatic vending machine bodies. The automatic vending machine controller 4 communicates with the respective vending machine slave machines, collects the sales information of the automatic vending machine bodies, also edits collected data and outputs them.
