PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which is short in front and rear lengths. SOLUTION: This display device has an org. electroluminescence element 12 and a light emission type display 13 for projecting display light L to the org. electroluminescence element 12. The org. electroluminescence element 12 is formed by successively laminating a transparent electrode, org. layer and rear surface electrode on a translucent substrate. The rear surface electrode consists of a metallic layer of aluminum, etc. The display light L of the light emission type display 13 is reflected to an observer 28 side by the rear surface electrode.
