PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the miniaturization, simplification, and power saving of a power source device for an electrifier, which electrifies a latent-image carrier. SOLUTION: Ink droplets 54 are caused to fly so as to correspond with an electrostatic latent image on a photoreceptor drum 12 from conductive ink held on an ink carrying roller 30, and the ink droplets are indirectly attached to paper, thereby forming an image. In this case, the conductive surface of the ink carrier 30 is made rugged, and a specific voltage having a polarity different from that of a latent-image potential is applied to the rugged part 40.
