PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driving system for parallel-driving two kinds of liq. crystal display devices to prevent the respective liq. crystal display device from being critically damaged in reliability. SOLUTION: The driving system is provided with one group of a macro controlling integrated circuit(IC) 1 and a controller integrated circuit(IC) 2. A control signal, which coincides with a specification of the first liq. crystal panel 3 or the second liq. crystal panel 4 in different kinds is generated from IC 1 and 2 and provided it in parallel to the liq. crystal panels 3, 4. At that time, while one side of the liq. crystal panel 3 (4) is in a displaying operation, at least a vertical scanning start controlling signal (STV) of the other panel 4 (3) is made stop, and when the second liq. crystal panel 4 is in drive making reverse a counter signal voltage in each one horizontal scanning period, an analog system power supply voltage Vee and a supplying voltage Vcom for a counter electrode are supplied in a voltage through a diode 14 from the power supply voltage VDD and a signal at Vee voltage level is applied for a video signal Video In one period of at least one part within one horizontal scanning period.
