PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head which has a simple adjusting mechanism causing little misalignment in the position of a light source after adjustment, and is excellent in reliability. SOLUTION: This is an optical head comprising a 1st light source 1, a 2nd light source, an optical multiplexer 4 for synthesizing a 1st light bean from the 1st light source 1 and a 2bd light beam from the 2nd light source 2, a light converging means 7 for converging the 1st light beam and the 2nd light beam on an optical disk, and a photo-detector 9 for receiving the light reflected from the optical disk of the 1st light beam 1 and the 2nd light beam. In this case, an optical element 10 having a lens action to change an divergence angle of the 2nd light beam is arranged between the optical multiplexer 4 and the 2nd light source 2.
