PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically connect a ground terminal of a semiconductor power converter to a switchboard as a ground conductor at the time of installing on the switchboard, by electrically connecting the ground terminal to one end of a wind channel plate via a conductor plate, providing a site extended to the channel plate, and bringing the site into pressure contact with an external ground conductor, SOLUTION: A ground conductor 13 is arranged in the inverter comprising a plastic housing 11, a metal wind channel plate 12, a finned cooling element 3, a ground terminal 4 and a semiconductor module 7 as a semiconductor power converter, and an extended site of the plate 12 is provided partly at a portion brought into contact with a switchboard 6 of the housing 11. At the time of installing the site of the plate 12 on the switchboard 6 of the housing 11, the site is brought into pressure contact with the switchboard 6 via a screw 5. Thus, at the time of installing the inverter on the switchboard 6, the terminal 4 can be automatically connected to the switchboard 6 as an external ground conductor via the element 3, the conductor 13 and the plate 12. |
