PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous composite magnetic body, having an effect of removing high frequency noise roughly from 300 MHz to 3 GHz (corresponding to a UHF band), while maintaining high magnetic permeability of ferrite system magnetic materials whose noise removing effect is high. SOLUTION: This porous composite magnetic body is formed by dispersing hollow fine spheres 2, made of a nonmagnetic ceramic such as silica and/or alumina in a mother phase 1, made of ferrite system magnetic materials such as Ni/Zn system ferrite. The volume ratio of the hollowed fine spheres 2 is 10-75%, and the porosity of the porous composite magnetic body is 5-50%. The porous composite magnetic body is manufactured by mixing and temporarily burning components for ferrite powder whose mean grain diameter is 0.5-10 μm, and then mixing and burning the hollowed fine spherical nonmagnetic ceramic materials. |
