PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce toner accumulated and attached at/to an electrode member in the developing unit of an electrophotographic printing device. SOLUTION: In order to form toner cloud at a space between a donor roller 40 and a photoconductive surface 10 by separating the toner from the roller 40, a bias is applied to the roller 40 by the electrode member 42 whose both end part areas are supported by a supporting member. At least one part of the electrode member 42 is covered with a coating composition consisting of a low surface energy material. |
