PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise filter, by which a core is fixed surely at the arbitrary place of a flat cable and the shape of the core can be held more stably. SOLUTION: A holder 20 is composed of a first pinching section 21 and a second pinching section 22, and formed substantially U shape. First projecting sections 23 for holding are formed along both side edges in the longitudinal direction of the first pinching section, and second projecting sections 24 for holding projected in the direction of the first pinching section are formed along both side edges in the longitudinal direction of the second pinching section. A core section 1 is arranged between both first projecting sections for holding, a core section 2 is disposed between both second projecting sections for holding, and the holder is installed to an annular core 5 mounted on flat cables 3. Since the flat cables are pinched by the first projecting sections for holding and the second projecting sections for holding at that time, the holder is fixed at the arbitrary places of the flat cables, and the core is fastened onto the flat cables through the related holder.
