PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the stereoscopic image display device adopting a screen rotation method where it is made small in size with less noise and vibration and a displayed shape has less restriction and to provide the stereoscopic image display system. SOLUTION: A screen 38 is fixed perpendicularly to a major side of a rotary member 39, projection mirrors 36, 37 are opposed to each other in the inside of the rotary member 39 at a prescribed angle and rotated around a vertical axis Z including a center axis of the screen 38 at an angular velocity Ω as the rotary member 39 rotates. A light emitted from a white light source 31 is made incident onto the rotating projection mirror 36 via a collimator lens 32, a digital micro mirror device DMD 33, an image rotation compensation device 34 and a projection lens 35. |
