PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the communication charge of opposite side communication equipment in the communication equipment of a reception side and to display it at a display part, even for call originating from the opposite side communication equipment. SOLUTION: This communication equipment is provided with a first storage part 15 for storing the line number of call origination side communication equipment obtained by a pre-communication information informing service, a measurement part 18 for measuring communication time, a communication charge table data storage part 11 for storing communication charge table data for calculating the communication charge, and the display part 13 for displaying the current communication charge. At call termination from the opposite side communication equipment, a communication charge display control part 12 extracts communication charge data for the line number from the communication charge table data storage part 11 based on the stored line number, calculates the communication charge at present based on the communication time measured by the measurement part 18 and the communication charge data, and displays it at the display part 13.
