PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorded-information reproducing apparatus which can perform a scan operation, which prevents the eyes of a user from being tired when the user performs the scan operation so as to know a music number or the like and which is low-cost. SOLUTION: An operation part 10, a pickup which is used to read out an audio signal and a video signal from a disk 2 according to operating information, a microcomputer 10 which is used to control the pickup, a pronounciation generation part 7 which is used to generate an audio signal by combining regular sounds by a monotone signal indicating the order of the read-out audio signal or a static image according the order and the like constitute a recorded- information reprodcuing apparatus.
