PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure high sensitivity detection processing using a small capacity memory by summing detection outputs being obtained at the time of interactive sweeping of split band and making a decision whether a microwave of target frequency is present or not based on the sum of detection outputs. SOLUTION: Mixed output from a second mixer 5 is passed through a second intermediate frequency amplifier 7 to a detector 8. A detection signal outputted from the detector 8 is sampled through an A/D converter 9 and converted into a digital data before being inputted to a microcomputer 10. Based on the received detection output, the microcomputer 10 makes a decision whether a microwave was received or not and delivers a detection signal to an alarm circuit if the microwave was received. The microcomputer 10 further incorporates a memory 10a for storing a data based on the received detection signal and makes a decision whether a target microwave was received or not based on the stored data.
