PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhaust steam from an electric rice cooker or an electric jar pot through a discharge opening by discharging steam sucked by means of a fan motor through a branch wind tunnel and a discharge wind tunnel and arranging discharge openings thereof at two points in the front side face of a steam suction opening. SOLUTION: An electric rice cooker 1 is set substantially directly under a steam suction opening 7a and rice cooking is started. When a current begins to flow, it is detected by a control circuit and a fan motor 11 is turned. Steam discharged from the steam opening of the electric rice cooker 1 ascends to reach a steam suction opening 7a. Since the fan motor 11 is turning in the sucking direction, steam is sucked into a suction wind tunnel 7 along with the air. The sucked steam and air pass through the suction wind tunnel 7 and the fan motor 11 and reaches a branch wind tunnel where the steam and air are branched and fed to the opposite sides of a discharge wind tunnel. Subsequently, they are discharged from a discharge opening 17a made around the steam suction opening 7a.
