PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve various problems caused with the case that the communication device registers an additional number with separate contents from an identification number, when the number is included in a registration number. SOLUTION: A CPU provides the input margin for a space between the identification number of a specific destination and an additional number for causing an entire registration number to be stored in an EEPROM. When the stored registration number is dialed, the CPU reads the registration number from the EEPROM and eliminates the space included in the registration number and dials the entire registration number. Meanwhile, when a call is made from an optional opposite party, the CPU acquires (S34) an identification number assigned to the opposite party, and compares (S37) the acquired identification number with the identification number in the registration number blocked by a space. When the identification numbers match (S37: YES), the CPU causes a call tone to sound (S39) which is different from the conventional call tone in response to the call from the specific opposite party.
