DATA TRANSFER METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer a large amount of input data at a high speed by transferring the data directly from a transmission-side data transfer means to a transfer- destination recording medium through a data transfer line which is already connected. SOLUTION: The transmission-side data transfer means 5 is equipped with a data file converting means 1 and a SCSI control part 2. The SCSI control part 2 connects to the transfer destination by occupying the SCSI bus to the transfer destination in response to a command 4 from the data file converting means 1 and transfers a generated command 4 and inputted data to the SCSI control part 2 at the transfer destination. The inputted data is stored directly on the recording medium at the transfer destination under the control of the SCSI control part 2 at the transfer destination. Consequently, a large amount of data can be transferred at a high speed without using any buffer.
