PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder capable of forming an image of high quality, irrespective of a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The image recorder is provided with a platen glass 10 arranged opposite to plural light emitting element trains 60a to 60c, and a press-contacting member 11 for press-contacting the photosensitive surfaces of the photosensitive materials P1 and P2 on the platen glass 10, and on the rear side of the platen glass 12, the position through which light emitted from the light emitting element trains 60a to 60c pass is set within the extent of the focal depth of the light emitting element 61a, then, the image free from blurring is formed on the photosensitive surface.
