PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the television text broadcasting receiver where data at a point of time of a program whose contents change flexibly are stored semi- permanently and the capacity of a storage memory is not consumed in waste by undesired data. SOLUTION: A storage data selection.storage means 16 extracts only data of a data class preset for the storage by a viewer among data classes in a teletext image from an extract data memory 12 and stores the data to a storage memory 17. A reference data selection means 18 selects data required for the viewer from the storage data memory 17 and gives the data to a decode means 13. The decode means 13 decodes data and converts the data into display data of a teletext and a video output means 15 displays the converted data on the screen.
