PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and stably secure a very small gap between the surface of a photoreceptor drum and a developing sleeve. SOLUTION: A gap regulation member 39 is arranged by being fitted with both end parts of the developing sleeve 20YS. Then the regulation member 39 is made to press-contact with the photoreceptor drum so as to hole the very small gap between the surface of the photoreceptor drum and the sleeve 20YS. Besides, the regulation member 39 is manufactured by using polyacetal based resin by compression-molding so that the whole area of the part 39a thereof press-contacting with the photoreceptor drum becomes thick.
