PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve improvement in accuracy and high volume productivity, and miniaturization in an optical head using a solid immersion lens. SOLUTION: This is an optical head provided with an object lens for focusing irradiating light on an optical information medium, and a solid immersion lens which is arranged between the optical information medium and the object lens and converts an effective numerical aperture. In this case, a plate-like object lens substrate 11 which is partly is molded into the object lens 12, and a plate- like solid immersion lens substrate 21 which is partly molded into a solid immersion lens 22 are integrated via a spacer 31, and there exists an air gap between the object lens 12 and the solid immersion lens 22. |
