DATA COMPRESSING DEVICE, DATA PROCESSOR, IMAGE FORMING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMATION SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data compressing device capable of compressing data in LZ77 base through more reduced comparators while considering the cyclicity of the image data. SOLUTION: The data compressing device is constituted so as to encode the image data stream of plural lines provided by scanning an image and to compress this image data stream. In this case, the device is provided with a storage means SR for storing symbols included in the image data stream, a comparing means (CMP1-CMP8) for comparing a first symbol stream composed of plural symbols started from the first symbol of stored symbols with a second symbol stream composed of plural upstream side and downstream side symbols of a stream with the second symbol away from the first symbol for one line as a center, and an encoding means DET for encoding the said first symbol stream based on the compared result of these comparing means.
