PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotational displacement information detector in which a disc unit can be set in a body unit easily while being positioned accurately in the direction of the rotational axis of a disc and the direction orthogonal thereto. SOLUTION: A body unit 102 is provided with V-shaped abutting faces 11bα, 11cαfor positioning a disc unit 101 and spacer members 11a, 11b, 11c are clamped by the abutting faces 11bα, 11cαand the disc unit 101 thus assembling the disc unit 101 and the body unit 102 integrally.
