PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the unevenness of brightness from being generated in a drum part of a can, when the drum part of the can pick up an image. SOLUTION: This lighting system 3 for image-picking up a drum part of a can 1 by a CD camera 2 comprises a box body 4 having an image-picking-up hole 40 provided to surround the can 1 between the can 1 and the CCD camera 2, and a diffused light source 5 provided in a bottom face of the box body 4. An inner face of the box body 4 serves as diffusion-reflecting face, and a side face of the box body 4 is formed to have no corner part.
