摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent uneven in density or generation of density nonuniformity or color blurring, even when images are continuously read in the case of generating deformation in a light emitting tube of a light quantity detector by providing the maintenance means for keeping constant the distance between a light quantity sensor and the surface of the light emitting tube. SOLUTION: A fluorescent lamp 1206 is held by a socket on a fluorescent lamp base 1303, and a sensor holder 105 is supported between cut risers 103, while a pin 104 is passed between the cut risers 103 of the fluorescent lamp base 1303. The sensor holder 105 is always energized to the side of the fluorescent lamp 1206 by a spring 109 between the fluorescent lamp base 1303 and the sensor holder 105. A top end 106 of the sensor holder 105 is abutted to the surface of a fluorescent tube by the spring 109. In addition, a leg is provided at the other end of the sensor holder 105. Thus, even if the fluorescent lamp 1206 is deformed in any direction, the sensor holder 105 always continuously make contact and the distance between a light quantity sensor 1201, and the fluorescent lamp 1206 is not changed.
