PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform oscillation in high output in a high frequency of millimeter waves, submillimeter waves, etc. SOLUTION: High frequency electromagnetic waves from an oscillation element 13 of each basic mode waveguide 10 propagate in a basic mode (TE10 mode) in a 1st impedance matching device 11 and come to coincide with the electromagnetic field distribution of an electromagnetic wave mode (TEN0 mode) allowed by a overmoded waveguide 2 in a connecting part with the overmoded waveguide 2. The electromagnetic waves are stored between the waveguide 2 and a reflecting plate 3 and are returned to the basic mode waveguide 10. In a stationary state, high output electromagnetic waves are outputted from a basic mode waveguide array 1 through a 2nd impedance matching device 12 as if being outputted from one element.
