PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the releasing of locking even when impacts are applied from any directions while a tray is fixed to a main body chassis in a tray locking mechanism used for a disk driving device or the like. SOLUTION: A locking lever 8 has a balancer 19 provided in a side opposite a driving pin 12 sandwiching a fulcrum 11 so as to set forces applied to both sides of the fulcrum 11 to be equal. Thus even when impacts are applied to a tray 6 no rotational moment is generated in the locking lever 8. Therefore, even upon receiving impacts, the locking lever 8 is prevented from being rotated in a direction for disengagement from a locking member 15, and the unnecessary jumping-out of the tray 6 housed in a main body chassis 4 is prevented.
