PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wasteful power consumption of a high-voltage battery by deciding the presence or absence of melting of a discharge relay contact based on a drop ratio of a DC link voltage during and after discharging of a DC link capacitor during discharging and after the discharge is stopped, thereby effectively sensing contact melting of the discharge relay and inhibiting an inverter operation. SOLUTION: When a motor controller 2 for controlling an inverter senses OFF of a main switch SW1 according to a voltage of an A terminal, the controller 2 stops an output of a control signal Ref to a switching circuit 1 to stop a motor control. Then, after a main relay MS1 is turned OFF, a discharge relay MS2 is turned ON, stored charge of a DC link capacitor C is discharged via a resistor R, and when a detected value of the DC link voltage by a voltage sensor VS becomes a predetermined voltage or less, the relay MS2 is turned OFF. Here, the presence or absence of the contact fusing of the relay MS2 is judged based on a drop ratio of the link voltage during discharging and after stop of the discharge of the capacitor C. |
