<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety and convenience by enhancing maintainability and safety of suction grill, air filter, and the like, and employing a multifunction suction grill elevating/lowering means having enhanced function. SOLUTION: The veiling flush type air conditioner comprises a fan mode switching means for switching operation of the indoor fan in an indoor unit between an indoor fan interruption mode where the operation of the indoor fan is stopped or the volume of supply air is decreased when a suction grill is descending from a ceiling panel and restarting the operation when the suction grill is located at the uppermost position or ascending, and a mode for sustaining operation of the indoor fan regardless of elevating/lowering operation of the suction grill. Alternatively, switching is made between both modes by a switching signal delivered from a wireless remote controller 15 or a wired remote controller 18 for elevating/lowering the suction grill.</p> |
