PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set to molding die of a thermoelectric power generation element to facilitate the manufacture of the element using a die-molding and also to enhance the freedom of the shape of the heat generation element, in a power generation device for vehicle using the thermoelectric power generation element for converting exhaust heat into an electric energy. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric power generation element 41 comprises first members 42 which respectively have a vertical part 42a and protrusions 42b, and second members 43. The members 42 and the members 43 are semiconductor members of different kinds and a semiconductor material is set to molding die to manufacture the semiconductor members. The members 42 and the members 43 are individually molded by the die-molding and at the same time, a bonding between the members 42 and the members 43 is also performed. As a result, the processes for manufacturing the element 41 can be simplified.
