PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize time required for the read of data. SOLUTION: In a frame memory, pixel data DATA0-DATA23 among the pixel data DATA0-DATA39 of all the lines of image data are recorded in the Col0-Col23 of a prescribed row and the pixel data DATA24-DATA39 are recorded in the Col8-Col23 of the next row. Further, the pixel data DATA 16-DATA23 are recorded in the Col0-Col7 of the next row. For instance, in the case of reading the pixel data DATA20-DATA27 for eight pixels, the Col4-Col11 of the row 3 storing all of the pixel data DATA20-DATA27 are decided as read addresses so as not to perform read over the two rows.
